Hi! I have one observation about how these lyrics flow. The "Since then" at the start of the second verse threw me a little, because I wasn't sure what event it was in reference to (I guess it's about the "you saved me from myself" in the chorus). I think my instinct was that verses continue the story from the other verses, whereas the chorus is more of a reflective break -- so in that sense, my ear doesn't expect the verse to be progressing logically from stuff mentioned in the chorus.

If I was going to look for somewhere to explain "since then", then, I'd be looking at the end of verse 1. That verse doesn't get that far, though (leaving it for the chorus). Instead it ends on this question of whether there's something inside keeping you from doing your best. And that's an interesting theme, which I was hoping to see developed further, but it seems like the thread is dropped there. We don't get to hear about what that thing might be, and it doesn't really participate in setting up a problem to which the chorus can be a resolution. So, these two things feel a bit like mismatched bookends.
