A draft of a song for the lyrics I posted for review some time ago (which have been revised since this recording). The score is raw and the intervals between verses are placeholders for instrumentation or other musical expressions that might work if/when I get around to focusing on it. Thanks for listening.

Wonderful performances, both vocal and guitar.  It has a nice flow, and I think those sections to add some other voices should work out well.

The guitar becomes a bit too loud for me in the chorus parts, around 0:50-1:10 and 2:10-2:30.  Muddies up the mix.  Maybe some compressor there.  I thought I also heard something like clipping artifacts on the vocal for part of it, but it's hard to tell.

Thanks for the critique. Yes to all you mention; this is a raw recording with much to be addressed. Recorded from a set-up I use for live work without resetting the levels on voice or guitar at the amp, I needed to get it down or lose the vocal character and inflections from memory that were with me at the moment. Having played it before without really liking my approach to it, this recording captured something closer to what I thought would be worthwhile going forward with. This is where the real work begins.

Thanks again.
