My musically gifted friend, Donna Dior, on SoundCloud, YouTube, and other social media, released an excellent remix of a song she composed and performed last year, titled Like The Sun. She plans to include it on her forthcoming album, possibly as the opening track. It's awesome! Give it a play! ;D

I'm enjoying this live performance of Blooms of Oblivion by the enchanting and mysterious Emma Ruth Rundle, performed live and recorded at the Kyttaro Live Club in Athens, Greece. Awesome! ;D

In an effort to discover new music, I found Marissa Nadler. She is somewhat similar in style to Emma Ruth Rundle, whom I really like. Marissa performed her song For My Crimes live in the KEXP studio in Seattle. I like her style and this song, and I intend to hear more of her music.

Emily Jane White's song Metamorphosis has a futuristic, dark, and unique vibe that I enjoyed. Its steady snare rhythm gives it a bit of a military-march feel. 8)

Saffron is the lead vocalist of the band Republica. She brought a lot of style and energy to their music in the 90s. They had a high-energy 1996/97 hit with Ready to Go. The song is often heard on beaches during the summer when volleyball games, swimming, and sun-filled days are the norm. ☀️😎

The track reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, No. 7 on Billboard's US Alternative Airplay chart, and No. 13 on the UK Singles Chart.

Marissa Nadler's music is often described as haunting, atmospheric, and melancholy. Her sound and songs blend dark folk, gothic Americana, a dream-pop soundscape, and her distinctive, ethereal voice. Very enjoyable content! 😃

I really like the style and talent of Ljubica. I previously posted a cool video of her covering a song by The Doors. In the video below, she covers a song by Chelsea Wolfe. 8)

Emily Jane White performed a live, in-studio solo version of her original composition Dew. The song is melancholy, mellow, expressive, and reflective of the sadness of life. I enjoy her songs, and this one is no exception.

I could probably start a full new series featuring the music I missed out on over the years, but I'm finding it now and enjoying it all the same. Sharon Van Etten falls into that category. I like the songs I've heard from her so far, and I'm looking forward to enjoying more of her voice and music.

I enjoy the voice, style, and performances of Sarah Lloyde. Sometimes, she performs covers of hit songs as the featured vocalist with the Hindley Street Country Club. Excellent! 8)
