Thanks to member "idunno" for introducing me to this site. He and I have had some collaborations over the years. I myself am a singer songwriter that bangs on his guitar whilst delivering the song. My method is very much to capture the moment of creation. I don't rehearse songs. I have been playing guitar for decades and started out by learning Neil Young songs mostly by ear. No musical training at all just a gut feel player. I prefer writing a song and then recording it in one first take. Yes it results in mistakes but I like the songs better. At first I tried practicing the song but quickly realized that the feeling was lost so I abandoned that method. I kept a guitar close at hand and when inspiration struck I wrote lyrics without second guessing them and then made the music for them by hitting my guitar whilst recording. And so I have banged out quite a few original songs which I will share.

In addition to doing my own songs I play lots of cover songs but I also enjoy helping other artists as well. I have become quite proficient at recording, mixing and mastering audio and making videos.
