Something's Coming My Way

This is a new one that came about really quickly.  Drop D tuning got me the main part.  The simple lyrics came to me the next day while making breakfast.  Sort of a heavy metal country and western mash up!

Something's Coming My Way

Wake up in the morning
Waiting for the dawning
Hoping something's coming my way

I'm forever falling
I can't hear you calling
Hoping something's coming my way

Nothing's going my way

Wake up on a new day
Still got nothing to say
Hoping something's coming my way

Wake up from a slumber
I ain't got your number
Hoping something's coming my way

Nothing's going my way

Wait in in the evening
I still don't believe it
Hoping something's coming my way

Waking from a nightmare
Faking that you might care
Hoping something's coming my way

Something's coming my way

New genre , looks good ..heavy metal country and western . They don't call it western anymore , that was back when Roy Rogers was around

Mora Amaro La Loba

It's a special fusion, having native Indian smell too? nice one, maybe at some moments so many guitars make a mess? but it sounds really interesting, as I have said you, a nice fusion
I did not know that to live <I had to die so many times

Good point.  Thanks.  It will always be country and western to me though!   :D

You took the words out of my mouth.  It's got a country and western feel with the vocal melody, but there is a droney Native American vibe to it too, like Rolling in the Deep.  We have to say Native American now rather than red indian, but we still play Cowboys and Indians when we're kids!  I always overdo the guitars so I totally accept your point.

I think I could meditate to this. Seriously. Short verses followed by repeating lines. Good rhythm. I like it. Reminds me of my college days.
