Greeting, everyone! After finally catching a brief breather from my busy work schedule, I'm working a bit more on my fictional horror novel and new songs. A new song in support of my novel came to me this morning, with a chorus and melody first. I sat down and quickly sang it into my DAW. The full lyrics followed quickly. I will work on a full demo for it soon, as soon as I wrap up a music video for my remixed song Does a Sorceress Make Love?.

My new song, And I Will Always Hate You, is a mid-tempo pop-rock song with an 80s vibe. The song is about a mortal man who is used in a scheme by Eris, the Goddess of Strife and Discord, while she masquerades on Earth in human form. The guy falls in love with Eris who promptly discards him after she's finished using him for her malicious purpose. He never realizes she's a mythical, immortal goddess. He's left dazed and confused, in a world of grief and misery after she's gone, not knowing if he loves her or hates her.

As with all of my songs, absolutely no AI was used in writing/composing the lyrics or music, or producing the track.
