And I would be happy to set people up with free signups/subscriptions, if you like it and would share it around.  I'm a musician and songwriter, and new to this site.
I built a site that helps give songwriters and musicians and complete beginners get a little nudge in writing songs with chord progressions that have piano and guitar diagrams that you can also hear. You control everything--you can edit the lyrics, change chords, moods, and describe your song the way you want it exactly.
I built it using ai to write the coding, because I know nothing about that. I built it for my self at first, because I was having trouble finishing songs and getting stuck on second verses, etc.  I get writers block quite a bit sitting over the piano, and this has helped me a lot. I just figured some other people could benefit from it, too--so I spruced it up a bit and made it a real website.
It's different than Suno, and in my opinion--better. It doesn't just pump out songs for you, it gives you a draft that you rewrite, pick your chords, and make it yours.  But as the creator, I may be a bit biased. Let me know what you think.
It's helped me out a lot so far, and friends that I've shared it with.

It won't let me login as the activation link has expired and it won't let me reset my password a a stopgap as my desired password is the same as my current password.

Also the form validation needs improving. When I click the submit button after clicking various multiple choice options, the error message isn't a text box as it seemingly looks like, so instead the webpage should scroll up to the top so I can type in the missing prompt.

I believe the AI category on this forum is an attempt of quarantine to prevent the incessant threads about Generative AI with their advocates and detractors, from contaminating the rest of the forum. If this is the case, why would an aspiring songwriter use Generative AI, unless they suck at songwriting? Wouldn't the Web3 crowd who love cryptocurrency, decentralised websites and NFT's be a better target audience? Sorry but I'll stick to using pen and paper from human created sole authorship.

What I find astounding is that in the midst of Silicon Valley making everything 100% free with Suno, you expect the general public to pay $15 a month to generate unlimited songs, when your free plan only generates one song a month. Why would anyone PAY for AI? But the freemium upselling profit model is a completely different topic, which I won't get into here.

As an experiment, I decided to use a prompt to generate a pop song in a "conversational" style in the style of Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo, which in my opinion, have the EXACT same songwriting style, minus the backing track. The prompt was to create a song I wrote over 15 years ago. As the song was not as good as my song, I will now rewrite my old song in the same Sabrina Carpenter slash Olivia Rodrigo style, while having the same topic and lasting message, change from my intrinsic style, into my pastiche of their style.

That's a completely different topic in itself. What makes something....err....good? Also the psychology of people who use Generative AI, especially advocating for it.

Thanks for writing all that, truly.  I'll take honesty over polite silence--any day.
First off--on the form validation--your'e right. If you fill in the options, but leave the main prompt empty, it should just jump back up to that box instead of just flashing a message down by the button. I just fixed that. Thanks for letting me know about that.

I love pen and paper--sole human authorship is a beautiful thing. And I'm not here to talk anyone out of it. I was against AI myself for a long time--still am for most of what it's being used for. I only came around on the parts where it actually helps people--medicine, teaching, and as it has turned out--me.
You asked why an aspiring songwriter would use this unless they suck at songwriting. But so what if they do?  Or so what if I do? So what if someone finds it hard and gets stuck all the time and wants a hand? 

There are kids who could learn to play from this. Older folks getting back into music who just want to have fun.  People who have songs in them, and can't quite get them out. This thing, that I built for myself, at first--doesn't write the song for them completely--it gives them a structure, chords that they can change around, a rough draft, and then they choose what to revise and change, and make it their own.  And if that gets one more person writing and having fun with it--I'll take it.

As for Suno--I am not the same as them at all, and I'm not just talking about the site.  Suno is a company worth a fortune, trained on other people's songs, and currently in court over exactly that. And it hands you a whole finished track. Mine doesn't do that. I'm one person at my desk, in a small room that I changed into a below average music studio, with a keyboard and a guitar. The $15 isn't a profit machine for me--It's what keeps a one-person project online, and getting better--because it costs me money every month to do all this and quite a bit of my time most days. 
And I 100% get where you're coming from, and I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm glad you said what you said. You don't have to like it--you can hate it all you want. I'd just rather the people who could benefit from this, and who could enjoy this, and want to do it, get the chance to try.

And for what it's worth, in the post you replied to--I offered to just set people up here with free accounts if they wanted to try, and liked it, and would share it around.  The $15 is for folks who want to help keep it running--not a wall. Thank you for the reply. And thanks for the catch on that error message.
