Hola!!
This song is more of an image than a song, a description. I like to give life to the inert, to give prominence and soul to sound, to the landscape, to anything I can see, smell, or touch, and this is an example.
Obviously my accent is horrible, hahaha, and there are grammatical errors in what I sing but I think the corrected translation will guide you better.
I like the arrangement I made, it is different, strange and "alive".
I hope it entertains you.
The train was going fast
leaving the night behind
and the rhythm of its sound
awakened sleeping echoes
in the walls of that limno
the train was going fast
leaving its lament behind
And I devoured time
wrapping it in my eyes
to look for its secrets
The hours stretched under the gaze of that sound
while my life keeps running
through that clock that is not mine
@Mora Amaro La Loba -- The vibe of this enjoyable new original song from you has numerous unique flavors. The arrangement and production are great and the mix is clear. The blend of synths, keys, bass, and percussion are well balanced and weave your song's melody in a novel way that's very interesting. Your vocals, sung in English with your Spanish accent, are great and add to the authentic charm and appeal of your song. :D
I love your thought-provoking lyrics! I believe these are the best lines:
The hours stretched under the gaze of that sound
while my life keeps running
through that clock that is not mine Regarding your video, it's an appealing jaunt through many strange and mind-bending scenes and images that work well with the soundtrack. Around time-index 3:15, it looks like you're hard at work mixing a song in your DAW, which was a cool addition.
Thanks for releasing another great track and video, Mora! Very nice! I love both! Stay well! ;D
Cheers,
Joseph
Hola Joseph
Oh, what a nice comment! I don't know what to say except thank you!!
In many of my songs I talk about time because it is something that fascinates me because I can make it elastic, even give it shape, hands, life and that for a creator is an immense source of suggestions, any clock would do.
Take care

@Mora Amaro La Loba -- I enjoy how you express the topic of time in your songwriting. Time is always a very interesting concept to think about and write about. It's easy to imagine something in existence never ending (e.g., infinity forward), but it's impossible to imagine something never having a beginning!
The many aspects and dimensions of time in songs are boundless. It seems to always involve the concept of being in Heaven in the presence of a cherished loved one, but time moves quickly in that state. Or, being in Hell when parted from one's adored soul mate, and time moves very slowly in that state.
You always do a great job of describing your views of time and it's many flavors in your songs! Stay well, and keep the cool songs coming! :-D
Cheers,
Joseph
I love it! Great beat and perfect sounds providing the feel of a train moving along the track. Excellent.

Hola
@Vicki Gracias, much appreciated!! Your next one? hen?
I'll echo Joseph, your accent is fabulous..it's who you are and it makes your vocals special. I love this track. It's a bit different from some of your other work. Train songs can be clichéd, but not this. Brilliant production here.
A great track Mora...keep em comin'

Eres estupendo!!! Much appreciated, again!!!

Lovely piece, can tell a lot has gone into it as a complete work.
It's rare to enjoy the sound of your own voice, but I think your vocals complement the vibe perfectly.
Progression throughout is satisfying, really a journey and experience, and window into your perspective at the time. Very much 'alive' as you described.
Something magical! Great effort on the video to; all comes together wonderfully.
A really fun listen, I really enjoyed hearing your accent and the authenticity it gives the track.
Some very nice string interjections in the arrangement and flashes of brass. Are these all found samples or played using VSTs?
Think it maybe goes on for a little long at the end, without doing anything new and fissles out a little bit. Could maybe benefit from an earlier fade.
Completely all over the place but in a really enjoyable way. Thanks for sharing!
Love the ambience.
Very mysterious......very anxious.

Hi, I'm glad you liked it, your words, as well as those of other forum members, help me to continue being me and my fantasy! I like to talk about other things that are not just love or heartbreak, everything can be interesting depending on how you look at things and I have a great ability to get out of myself.
Lately I like to make short songs in terms of the presence of the voice and leave a longer instrumental part although my work becomes something outside of the singer-songwriter.
Do you have something published here? I have looked at a Soundcloud that has your name but maybe it's not you?
Gracias!

Looking over my work, I realized I hadn't responded to you before. Sorry, I'll do it now. While I'm at it, I'll bring this topic to life, whose arrangement and music I love so much.
At the moment, I don't have time to listen to the work of other forum members who have shared their work. My life revolves around hospitals and my home.
Thank you so much for your comment; you always make me feel interesting as a creator.
