Title: Live performance
Post by: Nick Ryder on Feb 16, 2025, 05:38 PM
Hi, all.

Here's a live performance of one of my songs with my new band.

This is from our first gig which took place on 19th January and was actually the set opening song!!

@Nick Ryder -- This an awesome live performance of The First Hello. The composition itself has a great arrangement, with clever, catchy lyrics.

The live performance with your band was obviously well rehearsed and professional. The jam from all of the instruments on the live track worked well together, and your lead vocals were great as usual! It's a very cool song! I enjoyed listening! It seems your audience did, too, judging by the applause. :D

Cheers,
Joseph

Thanks so much, Joseph.

This was interesting because the live mixing desk had the option to record each channel to an SD card as individual stems.

So once he sent them to me I loaded them into Logic and tidied them up.

When we play live or rehearse you only hear the overall sound, but doing it this way I get to hear how good the individual band members are.

I'm super lucky to have them give up their time to play my songs.
