I fell and broke my wrist but I put this together
Finished, but still learning to play it.
Refusing painkillers, the pain affects my voice.
When I'm finished with learning, the memory of my pains might remain.
Still, it might go through changes.
We've Been Everywhere
get up here, get up on your feet
the tide will turn for those who resist defeat
we've been there, n' we know it too well
the weight of the world must carry itself
we don't care, laissez faire
we've been there
horizon, the promise of a distant shore
no longer troubles me, it holds no allure
body enraptured, still, my heart escapes
with no fucks to give, I need not relate
we don't care, laissez faire
we've been there
there's no going back t' the shiny and new
so easy on the naked eye and useful too
we've been everywhere
dragging your dog through all of that pain
it's sure to end in tears and in shame
you will be sorry if only because
all of this worry, well, it comes at a cost
we don't care, laissez faire
we've been there
now, what we have got here has tactile value
all novelty aside for the tested and true
we've been everywhere
we've been everywhere

Kind of expresses the way I feel sometimes these days--"dragging your dog through all of that pain". And especially "you will be sorry if only because/all of this worry, well, it comes at a cost". I don't know your thought process behind this, but for me, "all of this worry" is a waste of time and won't help at all, regardless of outcomes.
Your lyrics are always so interesting....

Yes. Vicki. That's how I meant it.
Generally, I kind of go with the current trend of stoicism, there and elsewhere,
it's been said that worrying doesn't help.
I tend to worry sometimes and freeze where I should be taking action.
Worrying is a natural Phenomenon, and strangely, seems useless.
I'm glad to hear you find my lyrics interesting.
This one is not at all ambitious.
I might be trying to work things out when I write about them.
I'm slow. lol.
