Well, it's been a while since I was here that I wasn't sure it still existed. It's been a long, arduous journey since I've been away. Those who remember me may recall I was in hospital last time I wsa here, recovering from a heart attack. I spent a good three months there as they also found I had kidney issues as well - issues that have progressively worsened over the past year to the point I've just started dialysis and am waiting to go on the transplant list for a new kidney and pancreas. I also have hight blood pressure and anaemia - I get so tired I'm now the 'proud' owner of a mobility scooter. I Also had a seizure in December which has affected my hearing and vision somewhat (althoguh they're both improving now) I'm officially old and decrepit! I've spent abour a third of the past year or so in hospital.But I'm getting there - slowly. Hopefully!
I've hardly written anything in the last year - I completed one collaboration with one of the bands I write for last April (or there-abouts) and nothing since. Jacin, my collaborator, is desperately missing me as he doen't feel comfortable writing English lyrics and I feel guilty as I haven't had the physical or mental energy to write anything myself.
I'm hoping that now I'm on dialysis I'll start to feel more energetic and up to it - my mind whants to write but my get-up-and-go went on holiday and hasn't returned home yet.
Anyway, I'm back and hopefully ready to get back in the game.
