Frankly a ridiculous effort. I've been deliberately experimenting with trying to write in genres I'm not really familiar with. This is sposed to be a 60s soul/R&B tune. It's a pretty dirty vocal and I spent half the time recording them laughing my ass off cos it's so out of my comfort zone.
I think it's cute. I enjoyed it! :)
Actually meant to put this in the work in progress thread so it's pretty raw.

@Dan -- An interesting and enjoyable track, Dan! It definitely has a 60s vibe. I admire you for bravely experimenting with genres out of your comfort zone. I can imagine the song in a campy 'b' movie from the 60s. I really like the woman in the video imageāall black attire, black hat, black shades, svelte, and a big gun! She's looks like she's on a mission, but she's adorable! Good song, man! Thanks for posting! :D
Cheers,
Joseph
I think you've achieved a truly authentic dirty sound, although sometimes, especially when you double your voice, the volume sounds a bit high, but I like everything else: the rhythm, the tempo, the insistent guitar with its obsessive gimmick, and the catchy song played by a piano completely from the era in which your adventure takes us.
@Dan
Yeah, listening back the vocal does need to be dipped a bit.
Thanks guys for taking the time to listen amd feedback.
fun yes
but I really liked the song that came after it
love don't come easy. lol
@Rightly thanks man. im currently off work sick so have a lot of time on my hands so been fairly prolific recently and dont want to overload my posts with songs ive written.

Re: comments...I've tweaked the volume on my vocals. That's literally all I've done to the track but if anyone cares I've reposted.
@Dan -- I gave
She's a Hellraiser a second listen following your refinement. Nice job with the vocal volume adjustment. It sounds even better now. Cool track, man! 8)
