Sweetest you

Don't you know that you're just a kid
And love that's against the the odds
girl are you dancing alone with your eyes closed when the party has gone
shut down by shyness just trying to get a friend,
you know it sometimes happens

really think you've been gone too long
We have been missing you, just looking at a photograph
Hope you know it's a beautiful life, i hope you let it in,let it in,
Your mother been so worried about you
Well I feel you've been fine
Just sometimes I worry

And You're brave and kind
sweetest you
You're on our mind
Every day
feel lost you just call
No matter time or when
Love you so

And you'll learn what it feels to love
Taste a kiss
Maybe miss someone
Sometimes you'll laugh so hard you that stomach hurts
Sometimes you'll miss home
So much life to live
So much to learn
You're our little wonder you

And You're brave and kind
sweetest you
You're on our mind
Every day
feel lost you just call
No matter time or when
Love you so

Add anything?
Remove anything?
Adjust anything in the mix?

It's a very special song, very nice lyric and very romantic song, your vocal delivery is wonderful, I like your accent a lot.
The arrangement fits so well the story! @OleAnders

Lovely acoustic guitar playing captured very well.  The song takes its time in the best way, and builds very organically in just the right places.  The melody took unexpected twists, which I really appreciate - not at all predictable.

I enjoyed the listen a lot and look forward to hearing more!

Beautiful guitar playing, loved it. The vocal really fits well in sort of laid back style.

Good morning, @OleAnders

Everything about this is done to such a very high standard. I cannot fault the arrangement, production, performances or mix.

But more importantly, I enjoyed the song and its melody. When I listen to songs on forums like this, I try to do so as a listener rather than someone who tries to write songs, and I'm certain that what you have produced here is to a standard which would compete with commercial releases.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm hearing some great music on the forum this evening and this is superb. It's a great song and the performance/production are top drawer. This could almost be from a film. I can't fault this in any way. I especially like the vocal which is crystal clear and has minimal fx. Fabulous. :)

Hm, the song and your delivery remind me of both Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. Probably leaning a little more toward Bob Dylan--it is kind of a "free verse" style of song. I can easily picture you in a smoky coffee house, sitting on a stool and singing this song. I love the story of it! No nits.
