These are the lyrics to one of the new songs I've written in support of my fictional thriller novel. I have the melody, chords, and arrangement worked out, and I'm working on a full demo now, off and on, as time permits.
The song is about a mortal guy who falls under the deception of the adorable Greek Goddess of Strife and Discord, Eris. Eris appears as an earthly woman to him and others. He's mesmerized by her and falls in love with her. He imagines that she loves him, too, but of course she doesn't.
The song is a mid-tempo pop-rock song, 80s genre.
