Title: no tomorrow
Post by: subvibe on Nov 30, 2025, 02:25 PM

Hi
Here is a remake of a song I did a couple of years ago
Unlike my usual sweet & fluffy stuff I do this has a dark
Feel to it

Yes, you are right, this one has a dark smell, even sad but it works so well, vocals go so nicely dressed!!! Simple arrangement that gives importance to lyrics and vocals... Wonderful work!!

I, too, prefer to do happier songs, but this is really good. Sometimes we need a little darkness in our lives for contrast. I know from personal experience how much more I appreciate the good life I have now compared to when it wasn't so good.

You have such a pretty voice!

Another great track. I'm curious to know how you create these tracks. I don't think it's AI but it doesn't sound like live music either. Not a criticism - I'm just curious that's all. The fade out was a bit unexpected, but otherwise a great song. :)

Hi @ChrisPrice

Thanks for listening & your comments
i don't use AI on any of my songs
the vocals on this song are from a British girl called Sahara Warren if i recall
basically i build the song around the vocals So start with some basic chords
once they fit then i start adding other parts like building blocks The hardest part
is trying to know when to stop before it gets too cluttered ! i often ignore my own advice
I have a little home studio in my attic so trying to get a Pro sound like with SSL or a Neve desk
will always be a challenge but the main thing is that i enjoy doing this stuff
