When he thinks about Lennon
Being murdered by a Chapman
He wishes all the bad would stop happening
Times are changing
But maybe not with him
Greenwich Village ghosts haunt him
Like bad rhythms like bad rhythms

Sometimes even Dylan gets the blues
Times moving on, he's fading from view
He misses those long lost glory days
Even now he's trying to find his way
It's so hard living in different shoes
Yeah sometimes even Dylan gets the blues
sometimes even Dylan gets the blues

He was happier at seventeen
When he could barely afford a sandwich
Now he stumbles down a hall in his mansions
He still remembers kids dying in Vietnam
And why his music didn't stop it sooner
But he tried man he really tried man

Bridge
It's alright ma I'm only bleeding
A sad sad ballad is what the crowd is needing

Nice build-up through the bridge and then back down with the last chorus. I've noticed you use a variety of styles in your music and this one, of course, seems influenced by Dylan's style. I like the conversational tone and the gravelly voice. Personal preferences. Thumbs up from me.

I kinda got... a Tom Waits Dylan voice . Nashville singers are more polished
Thanks
@Elvis Nash -- This a cool new track, man. Your authentic, gravelly vocals work well in the song. The lyrics are good and the musical accompaniment is mixed well. I enjoyed listening. Nice production!
From a professional point of view its not best song to do , since Im pitching songs again , Its only an artist song , I don't think anyone would be interested in it . Do kids even know who Dylan is ? I sang it in one take , I can't see singing them 100 times , you lose the feeling
Thanks
Hi Elvis,
Absolutely loved this song, definitely my kind of music, it has inspired me for what its worth, great song,
George

I thought it might do better with that movie out on promotion , thanks
I think some songs are just meant to be, regardless of how many folks takes them up. A couple of things i have written over the years, and athough i am my harshest critic, even i have to admit are beautiful songs, but they are just too subjective to be listend to. In essence i think you have captured what Dylan is, and perhaps it's for an audience that really gets Dylan. Some of the songs i mentioned writing i have even thought of reworking the lyrics and making them more ameanable, alterations to the melody etc. but then think "Hey, why not take one of my kids, change their hair colour, change the boys into girls, dress them in diffrent clothes " they woud still be my kids, but intrue with out the essence and magic. You have written an amazing song my friend..

Youtube is a tuff market , everybody biding for everyone's attention , a song is better than another political rant by all these sites , really annoying. Gen Z might get the song cuz of movie
Thanks again
