I don't really have any feedback--this type of music is outside my area of expertise. I *can* say I would love to be able to put together something like that. It had a great foot-tapping beat. Reminded me of scenes I've seen in TV shows and movies of people moving through a crowded club with people dancing.

Hi Vicki,

Thanks for your feedback, it all counts and gives me an idea of what works and what doesn't,

It is great to hear you trying something a bit different @jazz101

My feedback would be...

You have made some great sound and beat choices

I am not personally a fan of "fade ins" in any genre

I think the whole thing sounds a bit "soft" for modern EDM - I would find a way to "rough some bits up" - e.g. a filthy/dirty bass or a distorted lead synth sound

At the moment the sections feel very different and the transitions are a bit "stark"

I would suggest 2 things...

Find some nice "build and crash" sound effects to go across the transitions between section

It would also help to keep a "constant" throughout the whole track that the listener can use as an "anchor" - this would usually be a vocal, but in an instrumental, I would suggest finding a single "lead synth" type sound and use this as a constant - and then revolve all of the other sounds etc. around this

For a first foray though...great job!

Not really my genre, but this sounds the business to my old ears. I was half expecting a vocal to come in.  If it's your first foray into this style then you've done a great job. I can't really add anything else as I don't know enough about this kind of music, but well done. :)
