Title: One Heart, One World
Post by: Vicki on Jan 09, 2025, 10:07 PM
Here's an experiment using Suno (music AI at suno.com). I wrote the words and gave Suno the following instructions under "Style of Music":
[dreamy pop]
[dreamy female vocal]
[ethereal]
[atmospheric]
[optimistic major key]
[rich vocal harmonies]

The resulting song is posted on SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/caliamoko/one-heart-one-world).

I expect the finished product to sound a bit different. I expect to adjust the melody and use some different chords.

I'm happy for any feedback. I suspect some of the words (like line 4 of the first verse and all of the pre-chorus) could be improved, but I'm not sure which ones. Maybe parts of the melody as well?

Here is the lyric:

One Heart, One World

VERSE 1
We're individual leaves on a single tree.
We're separate voices in a choir of humanity.
Borders that divide us; imaginary lines.
A brand new day has dawned, advancing loving, caring lives.

PRE-CHORUS 1
Though shadows fall, and the air feels cold
A single spark turns all to gold

CHORUS 1
One heart, one world, hand in hand, we rise together
Unified in vibrant goals, we face the worst of stormy weather
Sunny days not far away
The cold will warm , the darkness fade

VERSE 2
Diversity enriches us and makes our spirits glow
Like the flowers in a garden, all the colors help us grow
To make the world a better place for every beating heart
We're happier and healthier together than apart

PRE-CHORUS 2
Though shadows fall, and the air feels cold
A single spark turns all to gold

CHORUS 2
One heart, one world, hand in hand, we rise together
Unified in vibrant goals, we face the worst of stormy weather
Sunny days not far away
The cold will warm, the darkness fade

BRIDGE
All around the world someday everyone will sing
The music in our hearts will swell and make the mountains ring

CHORUS 3
One heart, one world, hand in hand, we rise together
Unified in vibrant goals, we face the worst of stormy weather
Sunny days not far away
The cold will warm, the darkness fade

@Vicki -- I really like your lyrics! I can tell you worked hard on those. My favorite lines are in the pre-chorus and also the bridge, but all of your lyrics are very good!

Though shadows fall, and the air feels cold
A single spark turns all to gold

[...]

All around the world someday everyone will sing
The music in our hearts will swell and make the mountains ring

Very nice! :D

I would love to hear you bring those to life with your authentic musical creativity in your talented mind and heart, which you've expressed in your other songs. Your tracks that you compose and sing are always enjoyable! :D

Cheers,
Joseph

Thank you @subvibe . Now I need to refresh my memory regarding the music of Lana Del Ray.  ;D

I would love to make this more completely mine, @icystorm but, as you may have noticed, I still haven't managed to do any more with the last one....

Yes, @Mora Amaro La Loba I'm pretty amazed by what Suno can do. Now I need to figure out how to make it do more of what I want it to do.

Thank you, everyone!

I like a lot the lyrics, we need more of this strong motivations to brotherhood in songs (Bob Marley as a good teacher)
The music is perfect but for me a little bit sad.

Thank you, Skandha. I agree--we need more of these themes in songs...and in the world!
