Very short piece by my usual quota and to be honest I love the concept but I'm struggling to expand it
Let me know what you think :)

Spooky Woman

There's a woman, not a girl
out there on the corner of the street
she wears silver, no sign of pearls
just waiting for a bus to the other side
all because the spooky woman said,
It's gonna be alright

There's a boy, not quite a man
struggling to contemplate his fate
when his feet are buried in his fathers land
thought about travelling from state to state
can't buy a car but remember the spooky woman said
you're gonna be alright

Together they will meet, no kisses
no holding hands, just a glimpse of what might be
the most beautiful self destruction the world has seen
between them and witnessed between you and I
I guess it turns out, That spooky woman
Turns out she was right

I love the story telling in these lyrics. Dead simple but put in such a poetic way. Beautiful mate :)

I do wonder if the end is not just a little too poetic for song?
There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in  , but they're ever so small, that's why rain is thin.

Thanks Scha

Again this is a recurrent theme I end up losing my rhythm in my own ideas
almost poetry sometimes, any suggestions on that front?
