Not sure how I would feel with someone else's mother looking down (mind you we have various virgins tiled onto the side of our house and I don't really dare remove them). It seems she has a good energy which is being transmitted down the generations, which I'd quite like to be my fate.

Those drums are a real highlight - very real sounding and very "vintage". Love the processed (non-vintage) voice as well - often over used but great here and I like the way you keep it and add to it in the chorus.

Fun and catchy stuff. I guess the lady herself had to make an appearance, though that was always going to be a bit of a music-hall moment...!
