My PC Speakers have finely called it a day The were made by Creative with the boom box
and cost about £39.99 a very long time ago.

I was wondering if any members could advise me of what would be the best speakers to
purchase as a replacement say up to £100.00

Hi @Royston

If you're going to be using the speakers for mixing then I would save up a bit more to get some decent monitor speakers. Anything sub £100 would not have the clarity.

For just listening to music, I have a pair of Amazon Echo's which are setup as a stereo pair and they're pretty good!!

Thank you for your reply to my request I'm not into the recording or mixing aspect
just songwriting so I gather I would not need anything special so I'll just stay with
the standard type.
