I think the guitar part was a very effective evoking of the Balalika sound of Russian folk music then it morphed into a Steve Miller Band song. Have I mentioned before that you sound uncannily like him even down to the electric guitar tone?

I can't get any Bond link but that doesn't matter when the recording is as good as this. I just feel totally inadequate when faced with this level of skill and imagination. Oh well, back to the crooning over some cowboy chords.... :'(

Lots of different colours here bouncing around the noggin.

I have Russian scales. I have Western Films. I have Kasabian. I have brit rock. I have Beatles.

The chorus really jumps out after a single listen, but almost cheekily. It isn't the kind of song that is demandeth of hookiness. Yet there it is!  Cool!!

Ambitious arranging that for the most part pulls it off. Kudos.

The vocals strengthen as the piece moves on. The layering and counterpoint harmonies were particularly lovely
