I'm James, a songwriter/aspiring singer from Gravesend, aka. the place where Pocahontas got syphillis and died  I've listened to so much Gaslight Anthem that I now sing with a New Jersey accent, and most of my musical influences come from folk, punk, and metal. Brian Fallon, Frank Turner, Amy Lee are my main musical inspirations.

I don't write melodies or sing as yet, but that will all change in the next couple of months as I intend to start a band or a solo singer/songwriter project.

Oh yeah I'm a lyrics writer. I have a decent voice naturally, but I aim to sharpen it to the point where I can sing in a band. Plus I'm also learning bass guitar.

In time It still needs polishing first. I dare say it's decent by nature, and all my musically-inclined friends have said that it has the potential to go far, but at the moment I'd make any of the songs I sing sound like Picasso recording a war crime on sandpaper.
