@songsthatcry The moderator graciously acknowledged he was wrong and so is it the moderator, who having got involved in personal comments which led to provoking, needs to be the first to apologize and ask Mark Ryan back. If not, it is clearly saying this is not a music forum but a site for personal preferences regarding music and songwriters, and where one can provoke, but be let off, if he is the moderator. Very poor form.  I will not continue to contribute here. The comments have spoken for themselves. There is little principle but a lot of self projection reactions. And it is telling in the same people making comments. I, like others, have viewed, listened, contributed and then before we may fall prey to some of the same on here today, are signing off and moving on to a more mature forum. Dutchbeat has the decency to see where some of it went wrong. Others somehow, seem unable to. All the best.

Dutchbeat as the decency and humility to do that..it doesn't make his stance any less valid or reasonable.

you have been pressured into submission,
you had nothing to apologise for,  your just being to nice
everyone on here kept a level of maturity,
but the posts of mark ryan were insulting
and the last one totally offensive to the whole forum

OK, enough is enough

I will move all of these threads to the bar for now - at least that way those that want to can take off their coats, roll up their sleeves and "take things outside"

We may need a new sub forum of the BAR called "The Pub Car Park" where those that want to can slug it out 

Seriously though, I think we have done this to death

The moderators are not in a position to force anyone to apologise as TONE has set HIS forum up as a community

I really do not think the fundamental issues justify losing anyone from the forum

Comments made by many were not very nice and I hope people will apologise and move on - but for now I do not feel the reviews forum is the best place for this dscussion

Boydie as far as i concerned iv`e said enough,,,,this whole issue isn`t even about me..but i feel it`s become me..because i choose to get vocal about it....Ecoute he/she started this thread put it in the wrong section...they got involved and don`t like being told..so

I have renamed this thread to give it context with the other threads

I think we can put this to rest now but in the spirit of the forum I have not LOCKED this thread in a hope that a "Part 4" thread will not emerge

I will leave it to TONE to decide whether to delete all 3 threads or not but I hope we can now all move on
