In an interestingly close race, (The final vote of the contest created the tie for second) the Lyric of the Month Winners were:  

1.  Angels Flying Low    by   Vintage 54.    This song received 17 Points.  

2.  Tied for Second with 15 points were:  
      a.  The Hunted    by Paulski.  
      b.  A Nation Ruled by Fear   by   Jambrains.  

3.  Fourth Place was "Too Old to Rock" by Neil C.  This song accumulated 12 points.  

4.  Fifth Place was  "Diamonds In The Sky" by Tom Crocus....    This song received 3 points.  

Based solely on first place votes, the result would have been

1.  Angels flying Low  
2.  The Hunted
3.  A nation ruled by Fear
4.  Too Old to Rock
5.  Diamonds in the Sky

    Ok Everyone, duty calls, so just a brief visit to the forum to say thanks for the thumbs up. A pat on the back every now and again, is fuel for the daily grind. Also, would like to say a big thank you to Verlon, for taking on the task of both competitions. I think he gave more than any of us, a real winner. Thanks again for raising my spirits, will look in later tonight to check out the latest posts.
