Sorry I've been so bloody awful at responding on this forum lately. Once again, life got in the way. I'm working on lots of different songs in the meantime but I have always been tinkering around with this song. The original one I posted here was lacking in the production department, and it needed something to bring it out. I was determined. I'm by no means all that good at the production/mixing angle but I finally think I've arrived at the sound I was looking for all along. Here's the link:

And to all who have commented previously, I really really appreciate the feedback. I have used a lot of it and took it to heart. Each one of you has taught me something and I hope it shows in the finished thing. It may not be in the same ball park as some of the other songs on here, but I am very happy with it, and I guess that counts for something. Cheers.

Hey thought I'd commented on this but I haven't so sorry, am out at the moment but wanted to let you know your definately one of my faves, such a unique voice and emotional performances. Been listening to this and others on soundcloud as you release them and always excited when a new ones comes around.

Plenty to be happy with and I hope you keep sharing.

All the best,
Scott

Well you gave me the jitters with this....in a good way - I found it quite haunting, think it's the strings and the rhythm of the song. I last felt like this after listening to The Hansome Family, who have done some great stuff.  I wouldn't change much, although at the end it's almost like you walked off and left the song on its own.
