Hi
i posted my last song "more than a Lover' on another forum
& a comment that i can only do lounge, laid back music . i agree most of my
stuff is in that Genre so i thought i would try Rock or Soft rock for a change
& see what happens . Well it is not led Zeppelin but different than my usual style
I have tried to give the song a Live Gig type feel

Oh, I like this a lot @subvibe .. Lovely vocal. I really like the melody, chorus is catchy and I like the guitars you bring in after that first chorus..

Think you should do more like this! Really enjoyed it..

A different style of rhythm and a very good song, love the atmosphere and synths or FX you use here, all beats are really good, very effective result and wonderful sound, as always!! @subvibe

Great production as always. The short rhythm breaks in the first bars directly get the listeners attention; it immediately.draws the listener in. You do the soft rock thing just right.

I’m going to say something extremely dull now, but it reminds me of a singer-songwriter from the nineties, and her name is on the tip of my tongue… argh. Probably need some coffee first. Anyway, it’s meant as a compliment, although it sounds like a really lame one now. As soon as I remember the artist’s name I will hit that modify button below.

So, next genre you're trying is metal? (just joking of course)  ;)

––––

Half an hour later, after fiercefully hitting that modify button:

Tracy Chapman!
There's a somewhat similar saturation and timbre in your voice.  :)

I like the song because it's not the typical rock song of these days and still it sounds very modern and a little bit different than the stuff you usually get to hear!
The production however could be better imo. The snare is a bit too loud for me and the guitars, especially in the chorus, need to be louder.
Good work, still!

The song is fantastic and the vocals are brilliant, but it feels like it's something that could have been 20 times better with the right production. Proper guitars and a driving bass would have propelled this to something really special.

I just heard this
Really good very dynamic
Drums seem to be have a different reverb than the other elements.
It works anyway.
Just after the 1 minute mark, it goes into some boogey
That's great.
Then afterwards come even more changes.
You might consider doing more in this genre

Thanks for sharing.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.

Yeah, a really good modern rock song with interesting production. Great vocals and I love the instrumental layers. The drum sound really works on this track. I might be tempted to bring the guitar sound up a bit, otherwise I really enjoyed this. :)
