Greetings everyone. My name is Joseph. I'm from the US and new to the forum, but not new to songwriting. I love songwriting, and have been writing songs to varying degrees since I was about 10. My primary genre of interest is 80s pop-rock, but I also enjoy many other genres. I sing and play acoustic guitar, but my guitar skills are mediocre at best. I compose using my acoustic guitar to work out the chords to fit the melodies I sing, and I build and produce my songs using ChordPulse and Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio, but one of these days I plan to switch to Cubase. I'll listen to some songs on the forum, post feedback for those, and kind of get the lay of the land as a newbie here before I post any of my demos.
