i agree digger, the song could easily be adjusted to mean us old dogs 
i've almost got a proper version sorted with all the usual instruments,
anybody want to do some drums for me ? or program some ? i've got some canned drums on there ,
but they're a bit boring.
my mate Ron is working on some stuff for it at the moment.
this is my first ever attempt at doing bass on a song , got my bass for 40 quid from ebay , had a 10 minute youtube lesson , then away !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would like to make a drum track / drum loops (but i noticed that there are not really many people want my drum tracks  ), but i guess it is too late for that now...considering the deadline is sort of now-ish (habitat is a slave driver  )...and i still have to remix my entry with Binladeda

Hi Andy,

Lovely guitar intro and good story telling.  I always enjoy hearing acoustic songs ,they provide the listener with the opportunity of creating a production of their own as they listen.  I've been surprised at the quality of the lyrics for this competition, something that I was a little unsure of doing myself for this competition.  You've done a good job here.

I really want to record a song in a shed now. Rain and birdies tweeting away. It's folk heaven!

The vocal melody is very simple which is at once welcoming and tiring after a couple of minutes. The words are good and the feel is there. With some more melodic movement and a stronger vocal this could be stellar, but great demo to the brief
