It's definitely got an 80s vibe. From the great guitar and the apposite lyrics. Sounds a bit familiar...Bryan Adams sings a ZZTop lyric in general, but melody-wise something specific. Anyway, hits the genre with a bullseye. A teen movie of the era NEEDED this song.

Loving this. As has already been said, Bryan Adams springs to mind. Yeah, it's an 80's vibe but it's really well played and produced. Thirty five years ago..wow. Mind you, I go back quite a bit further! A great track.
