                              Blue Messiah

            Mary, i'm tired tonight
            Tired of wearing these shoes
But if i could have someone beside me
You'd be the one that i'd choose
I'm feeling the weight of this burden
It aint a whole lot of fun
I should be raising a family
            I'm just a carpenter's son

                 But its alright
The stars are still shining above
Maybe its weakness, maybe its doubt
Or maybe i'm all out of love

            Mary, i'm tired tonight
            Its been another long day
Maybe i'm not the man for the mission
Not the one to show them the way
This touring just goes on forever
Its hard to keep up the pace
And it hurts when the people are hostile
And throw back the songs in my face

                 But its alright
Maybe i just need a shove
I'm a little bit jaded, a little bit down
Or maybe i'm all out of love

            Mary, i'm tired tonight
I'm signing my name with a cross
Don't tell me i made a good prophet
Cause right now it feels like a loss
When you look at me now you must wonder
You must find it hard to believe
That the man who walked on the water
Doesn't have one more trick up his sleeve

                But it's alright
                We've both suffered enough
This romance is through, go find someone new
Cause Mary i'm all out of love.

Hi Vintage

I understand what you're saying but please think about recording this, when i was writing years back i wrote a poetical tale call conscience of guilt base on a similar subject matter of your lyrics, its to long to be a song but i posted it in the bar section here a good few months back, these type of stories always fascinated me so when i read your lyrics the word WOW really did come to mind, but anyway.

Just want to say you got a fantastic piece of work here, ill be looking out for it   ;)

Love the title, really caught my eye. I found myself nodding my head in time while reading it. My favourite part has to be the second verse. Overall, great work.

Really good. I like the realisation that he's all out of love in the last line. You portray a sense of struggle really well.
