                                    Black Train

There's a black train coming on down the line
Everybody's gotta ride that train sometime
You get your ticket on the day that your born
             Everybody from aquarius to capricorn

There'll be tears at the station when its time to go
Tears when they hear that whistle blow
But you gotta climb on board when the engine stops
Ashes will be burning in the firebox

It could be early, could be late
No one knows the hour or the date
             Could be tomorrow, or today
But the ticket that youre holding, it only goes one way

Theres two tunnels, up around the bend
But only one has a light at the other end
             Two tracks running almost parallel
One going up to heaven, the other one down to hell

Theres a black train coming on down the line
Everybodys gotta ride that train some time
You get your ticket on the day that youre born
            Everybody from aquarious to capricorn.

I'm trusting my gut instinct on this one, and it's saying that some of these lyrics feel a little off in one way or another.  Namely:

-"but the ticket that you're holding, it only goes one way" (to me it sounds awkward and forced)

-"one going up to heaven, the other one down to hell" (I can't imagine a good flow for these lyrics)

-Entire chorus (same reason as #1)

But other than those three areas I just can't get into, the rest is good.  I can't really conjure any replacement lyrics, but just giving my opinion and letting you know that some of the lyrics aren't really clicking with me.  Good job on the rest, though. :)

I like ashes will be burning in the firebox. It gives me the impression that people have already come and gone and the idea of the train never stops. And also the way the first and last verse is the same, perhaps means that life is pretty much the same from start to finish. Good job.
