Hi all.

I have posted a demo version of this previously, but this is now the final version which is being released on all the streaming platforms.

It's a very simple and yet complex song. What I mean by that is the melody is intentionally simple as I wanted to create something catchy and melodic. However, to make it more interesting I change the song key several times throughout the song and even go from. a major to a minor key in two sections.

Listening back, I do not think the key changes are too obvious which is exactly what I wanted.

As for the lyrics, its a simple tale about how as humans, we do not listen to each others points of view and arguments enough.

The older I get, the more I feel that if we understood more about views which conflict with our own, then the world would be a much happier place.

This is the first time I have ever co-produced a song. Steve, the guy who plays drums on this worked with me on the arrangement and he also brought in a bass player to record the bass part. Usually, I play everything on my songs.

I think the production benefits from me involving others. Steve also mixed it in his studio.

This is an excellent release, Nick. I enjoyed the earlier demo of the song last year, but you've taken the finalized track to the next level! Regarding the key changes, they blend in nicely with no issues. The sound is great!

The lead-in is very interesting and immediately grabs one's attention in a good way. The music, vocals, and mix are excellent throughout the song! The lyrics fit well and convey a wonderful sentiment, especially for the times we live in. I enjoyed listening. Great song! Bravo Zulu to you and everyone involved!

For the guitar lead lines, I tried to make them simple and memorable so they were part of the 'hook'.

It was really fun to record and also work with other artists for a change.
