Hi, @jazz101

I took a listen to all the songs you posted on this forum and they all sound amazing in terms of production, performance and vocals etc.

How do you record and where do you get the singers from if you don't mind me asking?

Are they friends or do you use freelancing sites like Fiverr etc?

Hi Nick,

First of all thank you for your feedback, it really is appreciated. As to how do I record, I write my songs using a Yamaha PSR 600 arranger keyboard. I change the individual channels instruments on the style I choose (so basically create custom styles) to what I think would suit what I am writing. I then link the keyboard to my laptop and record the individual stems into my DAW which is Ableton. I then mix the track to get the levels to were I want. I choose a singer (you were right) from Fiverr. I take the time to match the singer I think would be right for the song, I then put my vocal (as best I can) on a guide track so they know exactly what I want. I also send them a backing track and they send me the vocal stems which I mix together then master. I hope this help Nick, and thanks again for your feedback,

George

Oh and Nick I used the Backing singers from the Hollywood East West plugin to get the choir sound,
