Hi

Here's a tune with a bit of guitaring to warm the cockles of your souls on the first day of Winter.

Keep well.

Hey Neil, it feels like ages since I heard something from you so I had great expectations and you did not disappoint, fab guitar work, love the breakdown at 2.20 and even more when things get going after that. That's the way we like it :-) A good mix and good use of dynamics in the arrangement. The clock says it is a long (too long?) song but my ears and heart beg to differ :-) As I remember it the vocals used to be the weak link but not so much here so either my memory is playing tricks on me or you have improved. Top-drawer stuff!

Hello @neil connor

There's a really nice groove to this and the production / arrangement is well thought out and mature. You clearly know what you're doing.

I like how you use dynamics to build, then drop, them build back up again with some excellent guitar work.

My only comment is that I think it says all it needs to say at the 4 minute mark. I think at this point, if it had been me producing then I would suggest using the old 'leave the audience wanting more' trick and finish it there.

Great work though.

Hola @neil connor   I enjoyed listening to your song, guitar gives it a nice color, yes.

This is definitely my sort of thing.  Great guitar work, strings in the chorus and layerd vocals.  Love it.

To my taste, I'd like to hear the BVs a little more.  I also agree with Nick, I'd finish at 4:15.  The outro is great but does it add to the overall song?

Well done, @neil connor!  You've created quite an epic-sounding track here.  I really appreciate the dynamic shifts: going from quite mellow and calm to down-right rocking.  That guitar work is really something.
Agree with the others who've mentioned it - it would work really well without the coda.  But then again, it works with it so what do I know!

Loving this. A nice intro. I like the way this gradually evolves into a powerful guitar track. There's some really nice shifts here too. I nearly forgot the most important part! The vocals which are great. An awesome track. :)

Hi Neil.

I enjoyed listening to this one again. Your 'David Gilmour' vocals add greatly to the mood and feel of the song. Guitar work and tone is flawless as ever. That hard to get balance between warm and crunch, you nail it.

Hope all is good with you Neil.   8)
