I think this is a perfect representation--both lyrics and presentation--of waking up with a hangover and worrying about what you did the night before. It's a snapshot of a moment in time. You can tell he knows he should change his behavior and you know it isn't going to happen. At least not until he has some kind of wake up call that scares him. I have no ideas for improvement.
