Hi everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to comment on this track.
@Bankie I agree with yours and
@Skub comments about using vocal samples. I don't normally use them mainly because inevitably they lack originality. I'm in the process of creating a live set I can perform live using audio clips but realised with this one that it had gone beyond that chopped up feel but wanted to complete it anyway. I have in the past turned to Fiverr for vocals and will no doubt venture that way again...sadly I have always considered my own vocals insufficient for the job, otherwise I would just do it myself.
For those interested the pads were created using Spitfire Audio's free BBC Symphony Orchestra...layering all the orchestral insturments up on independant tracks and creating individual parts for each instrument quickly gives a fab result. Acoustic guitar was done using Ample Guitar's free Martin acoustic emulation and the E Piano was done using Addictive Keys Mark One stage Piano.
@kevysc I use Spire for most of my synth sounds, the bass on this track was created using 3 seperate channels of Spire all with slightly different sounds mixed together to form the final sound.
