Hi all,

this song happened really, really quickly, and I'm trying to get it over the line for potential inclusion on an imminent album release.

Do any of you have any suggestions on what you would change / improve?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Cut straight to the start of the story
Where there is an angel preparing to fall
She puts on her makeup and heads for the door
But she pauses, she’s not sure?

It looks like the trains are on strike again
So she calls up a taxi then checks her account
She’s deep in the red so she goes back to bed
And she lays there and checks out

What can you do, where do you start,
When the world falls apart?

Where do you go, what is it worth
On the last day of earth?

Beneath the veneer and the makeup
There is an princess preparing to fall
She looks like an angel but feels like the devil
Its just, no fun at all

What can you do, where do you start,
When the world falls apart?

Where do you go, what is it worth
On the last day of earth?

On the way home every evening
She picks up a bottle or four
She sits in her chair
And drinks until she can’t drink no more

What can she do what can she say,
When the world slips away

What does she do, what is it worth
On the last day of earth
