Hi

I've been getting loads of these errors when trying to access the site.

It's been pretty bad again today...to such a degree that I now often copy the text of my posts once I've typed them just in case I have an error when submitting them.

It happened late last night and again this evening.

It's probably been on-going for several months now. It was very rare prior to that.

Anyone else having problems?

Same. Either 502 or 503 error.

It could be one of many things. Not sure who is hosting this site but there may be limits on bandwidth usage?

Me too. Again today and over the last while. I emailed Boydie about this yesterday as he’d requested.

Hopefully it’ll be easy enough to rectify.

I have been investigating settings and made a few tweaks on the site

Please post here if you have any further issues over the weekend and I will raise a ticket with the hosting company on Monday

Thanks @Boydie - happened for me again last night just as I was writing up a post. Actually the @ lookup stopped working as I was writing the post so suspecting it was a sign, I saved the txt of my post and sure enough on hitting post I encountered the 502 error.

Hope they can sort it for you soon and without hassle!

More 502 Bad Gateway issues this morning

Hi all

I just wanted to give a quick update...

After talking to my hosting company (TSO Host) - it turns out that they are preparing a migration to 123REG - so they have been working on the servers

My current hosting package has been discontinued, so I need to move to a new package - the good news is that it should improve performance - but the bad news is that it is twice the cost!!!!

I have taken a full backup today - and waiting for access to the new hosting platform

I am not super techy on this stuff, so I am really nervous about doing the migration - if there are any web/database techies that fancy helping/advising please drop me a PM!!!

I will try to give advance notice of any changes/downtime, so please bear with me....and cross your fingers and toes!!!

I deal with techies for a living but am not one! Hopefully someone will volunteer!
