I wrote this song earlier this year after encountering one too many people online and in real life who talk as if they're political activists but instead are just keyboard warriors.

As usual, it pertains more to myself than I thought at first, so I ended up owning up to it at the end.  I do that in anther song as well...guess I have a theme!

Yes, I quickly realised upon writing the chord progression that it treads dangerously close to Isn't It A Pity...but it quickly varies and the sung melody is totally different so I stuck with it.

Hi, @mattyoungmusic

It just so happens that George Harrison is probably my favourite artist of all time. He regularly used this chord progression and I may have used it a few times too in some of my songs :)

There's absolutely nothing wrong in that though as he probably pinched it from something he'd heard before.

You're right, the melody is different, and in actual fact its great. I'm a big fan of melody which is probably why The Beatles are also my favourite band.

This song has obvious nods to The Beatles. Not only in its strong melody but also the production.

You work to a high standard and it is noted.

Very well done.

Love it Love it, very George Harrison/beatlesque, but we all stand on the shoulders of giants, really interesting song and a great theme

I don't much that's new to say. Mostly, I agree with earlier comments. I did notice your enunciation/diction was good; I like that. And, I'm probably another one of those "reactivists", unfortunately.
