First of all i got some kind of Oasis live forever vibe from it..?
i've separated it for easier viewing,,,to be honest the story is not well thought out,vs 4 is the same as the pre chorus except you`ve changed the person....what is the significance of a rocking chair here? is it a metaphor for something else? basically its .......i don`t care.i`m going to sit in my rocking chair, if you sit with me ,then you will know how i feel!
I can see how in an Oasis style melody with lots of guitar going on,,the overall story won`t matter so much(as in some of their songs)...but you need to examine some of the structure as well...3 and 4 line verses...the pre chorus is not setting up that chorus, if anything it`s a better chorus! do you see what i`m saying!
