It's my round.

Just wanted to drop in the bar to say hi and offer a drink to all those I've interacted with on here in the past. I've been away for a while, not because I didn't like the forum but mainly because I just stopped writing songs really. Work has taken up all of my time, as I knew it would, leaving me with little time for anything else.

Medical problems have forced me to take some time off work recently and I've got back in to writing songs (for good or for bad). I may put one of them up for review at some point soon but if I do I'll make sure I pay my dues and get reviewing myself first.

Anyway I just wanted to say hi and explain myself a little. I thought about doing a reintroduction in the intro's forum but thought this was probably the best place. Apologies if my disappearance/reappearance upset anyone.

This is my 4th JD, so if anyone wants that drink, better get in quick before the money runs out!

Looks like it's just you an me Tone so I've made it a pint of orange juice and there may or may not be a cheeky vodka in there somewhere, you'll have to sip it 'n' see.

A dispute already...that's why I keep away from pubs these days.

Well, that and the fact that my liver's fucked compromised.

I'm sure a small tumbler of red wine won't do me any harm though.....oh...and welcome back though I don't think we've ever met!

I'm assuming the picture as your avatar is your home recording studio?? Nice guitar collection

I've got a room very similar to this that I'm just looking to use for my room. Bare plastered walls and at the moment and just a concrete floor. I was going to try to steer clear of laminate flooring if I could due to all the reflective surfaces.

How do you get on with recording and listening back in yours, any problems?

I see you've got a reflection filter which will help, I use one too but just wondering whether I should go for carpet if I've got the choice. Laminate would sure be the easiest option though.
