Seems like one thing after another the past few years. Currently, my [younger] sister was admitted to hospice with stage 4 cancer metastasized down her spine. I'll be helping with her cares from time to time, may not always know when. <<sigh>> Hospice patients here mostly have to live at home.
I'm still writing, though. Did someone say beauty comes from pain? I am currently taking part in a Facebook group challenge. The group is open to anyone, I think. I don't know who runs it, but I've participated a couple of times the past two or three years.
This year I got in right at the beginning of the winter challenge. The first song prompt was "venom". The second one was "good". The first one I did alone. For the second one I acquired a co-writer. I think we'll keep going. There will be ten songs altogether. Then the group goes on hiatus until the summer challenge.
If you are interested, the co-write is here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/841675325536804
And my "venom" song is here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/916298444904490
I haven't much energy for going through posts these days. Once in a while I manage to comment on something. I'm ready for a long break from life...
Vicki
@Vicki — That's sad news about your younger sister. I wish you strength in dealing with it.
I listened to both of your songs; the co-write
Good Grief and your solo track,
Spitting Venom. I like them! You have cool acoustic guitar skills and great vocals as usual. Nice work!
Cheers,
Joseph
Thank you @icystorm !
Re: Guitar skills--if you were listening to the collab, I did only vocals on that one. I did do all of "Venom" by myself, though.

Yes, and I enjoyed both. Your video of
Spitting Venom, featuring you playing an acoustic guitar and singing, was really cool! I hope you share more of your songs. 8)
Happy songwriting,
Joseph ;D
