Is it me or are the verses of differing lengths? I like it! But I can't really say anything more until I hear it over some backing music.

So, its possible it doesnt read as well as it is performed.
I do like poetry, the written word
I prefer song, performance art.
I produce both.

I've got to admit I too "prefer song, performance." But I don't quite have the skills to play guitar with one rhythm and sing in another.
