You have no idea how spot-on you are. I turned 70 yesterday. I've been writing since I learned to play the guitar in 1974. I stopped playing altogether between 1976 and 2005 (life and stuff) when the spirit left me. But, it came dancing back and I've been messing around with it since. So, yea, I'm a 70's throw-back.
