I've enjoyed watching the performances of the attractive and talented actress Jacqueline Scott in numerous syndicated television shows, mainly from the 1950s and 1960s. I recently rewatched an episode of Bonanza titled The Tall Stranger (1962), which featured her.

I thought I would see more familiar names over in this section, but it doesn't seem to be as busy as it used to be.

Yes, if people don't reply it isn't encouraging.

Yes, you're right, few people show their faces around here, and even then, only very occasionally. And even when they do, some don't comment on other people's work, which is why this place stagnates, I think... However, given that there are forums that were once very active and had a large audience but have since disappeared, many now-orphaned members will look for new forums, and here is this one, available to receive visitors and host everyone hahaha

Eva Under Fire recently released a new hard rock/metal track. I like Amanda's voice and style. Cool song and video! ;D

I have discovered that with Suno, if I record my voice and run it through Suno, Suno will follow my melody. I openly admit, I'm a lyricist, not a composer, although I generally have a melody have a sort of melody in my head as I'm writing. I also don't have a voice anyone is going to pay to listen to. But what I'd like to do is learn FL Studio -- then I can at least come up with my own melody, use AI to sing it better, and make my own backing track. But learning FL Studio is pretty challenging so far. Really, my ideal situation would probably be to pair up with composers who aren't into writing lyrics.

So, on here, is sharing Suno-generated recordings on here anathema?

Gabriella Quevedo recorded a cool acoustic guitar cover of a power ballad hit from the early 90s. It's always cool to hear her re-imagine old hits. Awesome! ;D 8)

I've met a lot of serious people; I could spot them right away because they were surrounded by a special aura. It wasn't smoke; it was something that, unseen, had a certain weight. They used to listen to each other as they uttered their phrases, many of them repeated like slogans. They were convincing themselves of what they were saying to disguise the disgust they felt for themselves. I used to feel sorry for them, but I've realized that they're the ones turning the wheel with a stick, like giants playing with a hoop. Now they scare me because there are so many of them.

Your song made me relive certain moments, hahaha.
Good work; I really enjoy your writing.

Quote from: icystorm on Jun 07, 2026, 07:43 PM@Elvis Nash — This is a damn good original country-rock song, man! I listened a few times to be sure I absorbed it all. Cool lyrics and authentic, solid vocals! That's a well-rounded group of musicians you've credited on the track. The music and production are excellent, and the mix is clear. You and your team nailed it. Nice work! 8)

My favorite lines were in the chorus:

Ha ha Ha rest when were dead in a $4000.00 box made of Maple I guess ..

Thanks man

Cold hearts and coffee breath
Every conversation sounded one inch shy of death

Good stuff! Keep cranking 'em out. As someone once said, we can rest when we die. 8)

In 1987, the Bee Gees released their album, ESP. It contains their international No. 1 hit, You Win Again. One of the tracks on the album is Angela. I've always liked the song. Whenever I hear it, I remember back to a girl in my grade school whom I liked named Angela. Nice memories and a cool song! ;D 8)
